Every room styling commission begins with a detailed brief session at your property or our Deansgate studio. We measure the space, photograph existing conditions, and discuss how the room is used throughout the week — morning routines, evening entertaining, children's homework, or quiet reading.
Following the brief, we prepare a digital mood board, furniture layout plan, and itemised sourcing document with options at two budget tiers. You approve selections before any orders are placed, and we manage supplier communication throughout.
The styling process
Week one covers discovery and concept development. Week two and three involve procurement, with deliveries coordinated to minimise disruption. Week four — or sooner for urgent projects — brings installation day, when our team arranges furniture, hangs artwork, styles surfaces, and adjusts lighting.
A final walkthrough ensures you understand care instructions for new textiles and finishes. We photograph the completed room for your records and, with permission, for our portfolio.

Furniture and sourcing
We blend retained pieces with new purchases to respect budget and sentiment. Existing sofas may be reupholstered; heirlooms repositioned as focal points. New items are sourced from UK retailers, trade showrooms, and independent makers we have vetted over years of practice.
Our trade accounts often secure better pricing than retail, and we pass a portion of those savings to clients. All markups are disclosed in writing before purchase. Typical furnishing budgets for a medium living room range from £2,400 to £6,800 excluding styling fees.
Timeline and investment
Standard room styling fees begin at £875 for rooms under eighteen square metres, rising to £1,450 for larger open-plan spaces. Allow three to five weeks from signed brief to installation, though express timelines are available for an additional £180 scheduling premium.
